Customer Story: Camp Shannon glasses for a Cabin Upgrade

One of my favorite things is creating custom drinkware for folks who are upgrading their entire collection at once. We get to make a big set of super fun cups, and I know that their home is going to be a million times cooler than it was, with an update that will be noticed every day. Sometimes people want a batch of mix-and-match styles so everyone can tell their cups apart, and sometimes they want a big matching set. This recent project was the latter, and it's so perfect because the glasses went to a family's cabin, and feature a...

Customer Story: Dog Portrait of Fela

One of the first custom etching projects I ever worked on (maybe even the very first), was a hand-engraved dog portrait on a vase for a man who had lost his best friend and wanted something to commemorate their relationship. I drew his dog from a single photo, and when I handed it to him so he could see it in person for the first time, he cried. I'll never forget that moment, and the way it made me feel to be part of something so powerful. I've long since wanted to do more pet portraits, especially since drawing animals...

Customer Story: Parting Gift for a Co-Worker

I recently had the pleasure of helping Sabrina create the perfect gift for her co-worker, who was leaving her company to move onto better things. She discovered our lowball glasses while browsing Pinterest for gifts featuring a Penny Farthing Bike design. The penny farthing is one of those old-timey bikes you would recognize from sepia toned photographs and grainy silent films, with men in large mustaches riding them in a sort of precarious way. Customer Story Featured on Stitch Shopped Blog

blog press Customer Stories press for bread and badger pug

This very sweet customer story was shared on the Stitch Shopped blog, featuring our Pug Rocks Glass (which has been retired, and replaced by the Pug Dog Lowball Glass). Stitch Labs is the online inventory management tool that we use to track our stock between all our sales channels and our warehouse. They're fantastic, and I'm frequently in contact with their customer support folks, suggesting new features and bug fixes. Apparently, one of the support reps browsed our website while helping me through something, and fell in love with our products. In this post, she shares how she bought some...

Customer Story: Odd Salon

Customer Stories travel mugs

(Picture by Kimberly Huntimer) So, there's this super cool meetup in San Fransisco, called Odd Salon. We've had the pleasure of making custom logo travel mugs for them, and we're currently working on a batch of black handled mugs as well, which are already pre-selling like crazy. Not only do I love their creative jackalope bird logo, but I also think their cocktail hour lectures sound completely fascinating! With the tagline, "LEARN SOMETHING WEIRD", how can you go wrong? Here's more info, from their About page: Expert talks on odd topics; odd talks on everything else. Odd Salon is an...
