Portland Little Boxes Event and Quote in the Portland Tribune

We're participating in Portland's Little Boxes event this year, to encourage people to shop from small businesses on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday instead of big box stores. You can visit any participating Little Boxes shop to pick up a passport (or use their app for iphone and Android), which will allow you to get 10% off your purchase at the next participating shop you visit, PLUS enter you into their raffle for HUGE prizes (like a trip to Hawaii, gift certificates, and a CSA share!).

Since our studio is located pretty far away from all the popular shopping districts in the city, we were interviewed by the Portland Tribune to find out more about why we chose our location, and what we hoped to experience during Little Boxes:
