We need your feedback for our new state designs!
I'm designing a series of art for the 50 states (plus territories, if you want them), using state mottoes and tourism slogans. The hard part is choosing the best slogan for each state! This is where I could use your help. Below is the list I'm working with. As some states have a lot of slogans, I'm not always sure which to choose.
Please, please, please leave a comment with your opinions for your homestate or anyplace you like to visit! This will help tremendously. I've itallicized the ones I'm leaning towards, but my mind could change.

I love the Oregon Stag and I would love to see another glass for Washington
The Rainer R is the equal to the Oregon Stag for Washington. I would love to see that.
Maine/The way life should be or Vacationland!
Oregon: I like “She flies with her own wings” or Pacific wonderland.
Washington: by and by. Though I live here and have never heard it. None of the slogans really strike me.
Washington DC: I love taxation without representation. I have always loved this slogan because it is just so ironic.
Montana: Big Sky Country.
Thanks for your feedback, Charlie! That’s exactly what I’ve been wanting to know from people. Wisconsin is also the Badger State, which I’m partial to, but maybe that just sounds like supporting a sports team?
As someone from WI, the only one of the ones you have listed I have heard is dairyland. The tourist slogans are generally unknown by the people living in the state. And the dairy land thing does not reflect the state as a hole. I honestly think that calling us “The Land of Beer and Cheese” is more appropriate and something that more people in this state will relate to.
